Camden Equine Centre is a specialist equine hospital and ambulatory service which provides a wide range of services for your equine family members. The Centre delivers the highest standard of veterinary knowledge, practised by a range of specialist and highly skilled horse veterinarians with the support of outstanding vet nurses and animal attendants.Â
With a strong focus on equine sports medicine, elective surgery, and ambulatory care, our team of specialist veterinarians work together to deliver the highest treatment standards for all patients. The hospital has high-end diagnostic and therapeutic equipment; with the newly upgraded Scintigraphy and soon-to-be updated MRI (coming 2023), we are continuously expanding and upgrading our equipment to ensure we have the right tools available to provide the best care for your horse.Â
Our ambulatory service has a fleet of fully equipped vehicles and is available for emergency 24/7, led by Dr Sara Biasutti, a registered specialist in equine surgery. We provide a wide variety of services, including preventative health, dental, lameness, emergencies, castrations, reproduction and much more.Â
The hospital completes a wide range of elective and semi-elective surgeries; our specialist surgeons, Dr Marta Wereszka and Dr Sara Biasutti, are supported by a specialist anaesthetist and our exceptional post-operative care teams.
As a integral part of the University of Sydney Veterinary Teaching Hospitals, the team at CEC are dedicated to educating the next generation of veterinarians and is leading the way in veterinary education, animal science and research that advances the health and welfare of animals and benefits the community.
