At Camden Equine Centre, we are excited to introduce our new Equine Rehabilitation Treatment Days as part of our Sports Medicine service. As a trusted provider of comprehensive equine healthcare, we are dedicated to expanding our offerings to meet the evolving needs of our clients and their horses.
Our Approach:
Equine Rehabilitation Treatment Days will run on the first Wednesday of each month and are designed to offer specialised care and support for horses recovering from injury, surgery, or competition horses wanting to improve their performance. Our approach emphasises a combination of advanced veterinary diagnostics, sports medicine and rehabilitation combined with holistic healing, combining advanced therapeutic techniques with compassionate care to facilitate optimal recovery. This unique service provides access to multi-modal treatment options, allowing for the convenience of receiving multiple treatments in one location. Treatments may occur simultaneously, depending on the clinicians’ specialties.
It’s important to note that all horses must undergo an assessment and have a rehabilitation plan established before attending the Rehabilitation Treatment Day. The focus of the day is on performing rehabilitation treatments rather than diagnosis or reassessment. Assessments are primarily conducted by Sports Medicine specialist Dr Nicolle Symonds, along with Dr Marta Wereszka, and cases from Dr Gillian Burns and referring vets are also accepted.
