Dr Eduardo Uquillas graduated from the Universidad Mayor, Chile in 2007. Following graduation, he worked as a small animal clinician for 3 years, during this time he completed a post grade diploma in veterinary anaesthesia and analgesia in small animals. In 2010 he started a residency in veterinary anaesthesia and analgesia at the University Teaching Hospital Camden (UVTHC) in cooperation with the University of Pennsylvania, which he completed in 2015. Since then he is been providing the anaesthesia service at UVTHC as well of teaching undergrad students.
Eduardo has actively participated in research at UVTHC and had publications in peer-reviewed journals. Eduardo’s main topic is equine anaesthesia with special focus on respiratory function and analgesia.
