Equine Veterinary Nurse
Kate joined the team at Camden Equine Centre in January 2020. She has been nursing animals and the human variety since 2001. From a very young age Kate took an interest in the equine field and has competed in various disciplines from pony club to state level. Her interest in horses has led her to employment past and present and she has worked on stud farms as a rider and groom, breeding and foal manager, and preparing yearlings for sale. She has also been a drug steward at Menangle Paceway races.
She is an EA qualified coach and currently studying for a diploma in equitation science. She has a team of four competition horses, broodmares and young stock. She also shares her house with three dogs, a cat and various foster animals when they need a helping hand.
