KEVIN BERTIE
Animal Attendant
Kev has been an animal attendant with the University of Sydney, Camden for over 17 years. Kev’s broad duties range from assisting vets set up and position horses for surgeries and diagnostic imaging to ensuring the stabling facilities are kept in tip top condition.
Kev has over 40 years’ experience working in the equine industry. He spent 12 years working at Roseneath Stud, Cobbitty and 10 years breaking in horses at Silver Sharp Lodge, Cobbitty.
For 23 years Kev has been preparing yearlings for the Inglis Sales and now takes time off his usual day job to work as a ringside attendant at the annual sales where he is a familiar face to many people in the industry.
