Kali grew up on a property near Canberra where her passion for horses began. She has completed her Cert II in Animal Studies, a Cert III in Captive Animal Management at Taronga Zoo and a Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing in 2013.
Prior to joining the team in January 2020, Kali was predominately a small animal nurse in Townsville, Far North Queensland. She also spent some time breaking in and training horses on an Arab stud.
Her equine sport of choice is Endurance and has been competing for many years. She has three horses, Carousel, Joy and Red. Two dogs, Hannah and Radar, and a husband named Ben.
